At Central United Cooperative, giving back is more than making donations. It’s about strengthening the towns we call home and investing in the future of agriculture, alongside you.
Throughout the year, we’ve had the privilege of supporting county fairs, community celebrations, programs that support youth in agriculture, and local initiatives across our service area. These partnerships help bring people together, support youth programs, and preserve the traditions that keep rural life thriving. County fairs especially give youth a chance to showcase their hard work and promote agriculture, and our donations help fair boards direct funding where it can make the greatest impact.
In addition to our organizational giving, we were proud to award 10 scholarships this year to students continuing their education after high school. This year’s recipients included a mix of employees’ children and patrons’ children, recognizing their hard work, dedication, and commitment to their future. We are honored to play a small part in helping these students reach their goals.
Beyond financial contributions, our employees volunteered their time at customer appreciation events, community celebrations, and parades across our service area, including several stops where we introduced our new Central United Cooperative brand and logo. Being present at these events lets us connect with you face to face and build the relationships that keep our region strong.

Being five months into my role at Central United Cooperative, I’m especially proud to be part of an organization that gives back to the agriculture community that helped shape me. Having been raised around agriculture, I know firsthand how important strong rural communities and opportunities for the next generation are. It’s rewarding to now have the opportunity to give back to those same types of communities through my role at Central United.
