We’re committed to supporting the next generation. Each year, our scholarship program helps local students, especially those from farming and rural communities, take their next step in education.
2025 Scholarship Application
Applications open every December for the academic year ahead. We’ll announce the 2025 recipients early next year, stay tuned!

Who Is Eligible?
- Dependent children of voting members (active producers) or full-time employees of Central United Cooperative.
- Applicants must be high school seniors or recent graduates enrolling in their first full-time undergraduate, trade, technical, or certification program at an accredited institution.
Definitions
- Dependent children are those living with or supported by the member or employee, including stepchildren, adopted, or natural children.
- Voting members are active producers who engage in at least $10,000 of business annually with the cooperative.
Award Details & Amounts
- A total of up to six $1,250 awards are granted.
- Up to five awards to children of member-owners.
- Up to two awards for children of full-time employees.
How To Apply:

Prepare These Materials:
- High school transcript (official, including grades and credit hours)
- Statement of educational and career goals
- Records of leadership, community involvement, or achievements
Submit all required materials by the application deadline
(typically March–April; dates to be confirmed)
Award Distribution
Scholarship recipients are chosen through Scholarship America®, ensuring fair and independent evaluation. Awards are disbursed in early August, typically through your school's financial aid office.
